Android 4.0 Beta ROM for Sony Xperia Device

Sony Mobile has released a beta of the Android 4.0.3 ROM for certain Xperia handsets. These include the Xperia arc SXperia neo V and Xperia ray. Compared to the alpha ROM released back in December, the beta enables GSM radio and FM radio functionalities, which means you can make and receive calls and browse the web. However, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionalitys are still unavailable.

Apple iPad 3 launch in March

I have had numerous rumors surrounding the launch date of Apple’s next generation iPad. But now it seems we have a different launch date according to sources.
According to a blog post on AllThingsD, the next iPad will be launched in the first week of March and not in February as previously speculated.
The blog which is owned by Dow Jones, publisher of the Wall Street Journal states that the iPad 3 is most likely to be announced in San Francisco at a big event most probably set to take place in the Yerba Buena Centre for Arts. The source says that Apple would start selling the new tablet a week after the announcement has been made.

Nokia N8 Successor's is Coming Soon

Nokia had originally promised continued support for Symbian following their plans to switch to Windows Phone as their primary OS last Mobile World Congress, with the intention of selling 150 million more Symbian devices before completely phasing the OS out.
It would seem their good intentions didn't inspire enough Symbian fans out there and as such last month Nokia admitted that sales of Symbian devices were falling faster than they had anticipated (no doubt due in part to the aggressive promotion of Nokia Windows Phones).
